SUSPENSION

In-school and out-of-school suspensions will be assigned to students who have demonstrated a more serious behavior problem. In-school suspension lasts until the end of the school day.

Students out-of-school suspended must stay off of the school grounds during the specified duration of the suspension, including after-school practices and events. On the day the student returns to school, he/she MUST immediately report to the principal’s office. The principal will meet with the student and make sure he/she is ready to have a productive day of school. All work missed during an out-of-school suspension may be made up. The student has the responsibility to obtain any missing assignments and turn them in on time (allowed one day for every day out-of-school suspended).
