Kimberly High School – Boys Head Basketball Coach (2026–2027)
Kimberly High School is now accepting applications for the Boys Head Basketball Coach position for the 2026–2027 school year. This position is open to both internal and external applicants.
Position Overview
The Head Boys Basketball Coach will lead all aspects of the high school basketball program, including program development, student-athlete growth, and coordination across all levels (varsity, junior varsity, and feeder programs). The role focuses on building a competitive program while promoting character, discipline, and sportsmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and organize all practices, games, and team activities
- Develop and implement a program philosophy aligned with district values
- Oversee assistant coaches and lower-level programs
- Support student-athlete development, academics, and eligibility
- Communicate effectively with players, families, and staff
- Ensure compliance with district and IHSAA requirements
- Coordinate off-season and youth development programs
- Manage equipment and program needs
- Represent Kimberly High School with professionalism
Qualifications
- Coaching experience preferred (high school level ideal)
- Strong knowledge of basketball fundamentals and program development
- Ability to build relationships and motivate student-athletes
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Must meet all district and IHSAA requirements

- Support off-season conditioning, camps, and youth program development
- Assist with equipment, uniforms, and program needs
- Represent Kimberly High School with professionalism and positivity
Qualifications
- Dance and/or coaching experience preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
